Where can I find out what the idle speed of my car should be? Just got a tune up, and I think it is idling high.

Should be found in a good service manual or try under the hood on the lable that has spark plug types and all that other engine related tune up info. Most engines idle around 600 rpm hope this helps. Later Dude. CANDA RULES IN HOCKEY !!!!

Hmmm....Mine is idling at about 850 right now---thought that seemed high. It is the Inline 4 cyl with a manual transmission.
