 Subject: Overhead Console on Ebay

Greetings All.
There's an overhead console selling on ebay that
I'm interested in but the description doesn't
say what year it's for. I asked the seller and
he didn't know either. I have a '97 Dak and the
console in my owners manual doesn't look exactly
like what he's selling, but then again my door
panels don't match my manual either. Could
someone take a look at it and let me know what
year they think it's for or did Dodge change the
style at all. Oh, by the way, it's the gray one
with the computer. Thanks for the help.

If this is the one (I dont see a computer on it/with it) its a 2002 overhead console- I have a 2001 and I have the smaller sunglass holder, my brother has a 2002 and he has that one.
I guess your new question is will it fit? And that I'd have to research- of course someone else might know.

IS THAT what that "clip" is for?? Sunglasses. People have seen that in my truck and asked and I just said hell if I know, a "clip" what else would it be? And to think I've been keeping mine IN the overhead console. Haha.

I have a 2001 and no, the clip is not for sunglasses. My overhead console has a special compartment perfect for sunglasses. I use that clip to keep Turnpike (toll road) tickets between the time I get them and when I have to pay. The clip is great for holding papers or other small things. Doesn't have much other use though!

I recently purchased a 2003 quad cab. It’s fully loaded but didn’t come with the elusive overhead computer. After reading most of the postings. I was able to obtain an overhead computer on Ebay. I’m interested in hardwiring the overhead computer. The only option in the computer that I am interested in is the compass and outside temperature sensor. The computer I have has four wires attached to it. I know that one wire is the constant power, the second is ground and the third is the ignition power. I’m not sure what the forth is I’m assuming it the Outside temp reading. I got the compass to work but cant figure out how to get the outside temp to work. My truck came with a senor for outside temp. The senor has two wire going into it. How can I hardwire my over head computer so that my outside temp works. Also does anybody know what PCI bus stands for, and were can I find it in my truck. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
