Subject: K&n FIPK in Dust and Rain

Hi,I was wanting to know if a K&N FIPK woyld do well in dusty and rainy conditions?It seems like the filter could suck water being open in front of the grill.I trying to decide if I should get the fipk or just get the fliter to go in the box.Thanks Brian

for the dust, just clean it more often. as for the rain, i removed the flap next to the radiator and i have had no problems in the rain

my friend cut the front fenders out of his dakota when he bagged it, and even with no fender wells, and all of the water being thrown all over the engine, he has had no problems

thoes, in box filers dont do a thing for HP.
