i want to get a 2002 r/t r.c. no pwer pretty basic i am just wondering what kind of deal you got got and how much a month are you paying.
also how bad in the insurance.

I had a basic 2001 RC R/T on order at the end of 2001 (A/C, rear slider, HD cooling only options) It was going to cost $18,032 after $2000 rebate and $500 farm rebate. They couldn't make it as a 2001 so they offered to build it as a $2002 and only increase the price by $500 to off set the fact that the 2002 had only a $1500 rebate. I declined and bought a used 2000 instead. Now the R/T package is more as it includes A/C and Chrome wheels but still the truck I wanted to order would cost me $19300 now after rebates but it would get the chrome wheels and the longer warranty. Insurance really varies by who you are and where you live. I've heard of R/T owners who pay $200 a month in insurance, I only pay $45 a month.

My insurance company asks ONLY these qyestions on the Dakota: year; 4x4/4x2; sport or slt (sport is more -- "sporty"/"sports car").
I am 18 though, so for full cov. 500/500 for me is 200 a month of my 2002 4.7L 4x2...once I turn in my grades for school, it's going down $66. yey!

Mine (Farmers Ins.) only asked 2wd or 4wd, cab style, and v-8 or v-6. But the VIN you give them also will tell them the exact motor and trim level.

Hey buddy, get ready for some snow your way tomorrow! I hope we don't get any cause I took out the weight and put back on the 17's yesterday. I guess I jinxed our weather! It's sure come down hard now. It's 11pm here and still 40 degrees, so we just may get rain.
