Yes Dave, I am in the Albany area. Where are you from? I have a Dark Garnet Red 2002 SXT 4x4 5-spd. 12GA and I have been corresponding. I've got a bit of news for you 12GA. I got a thing in the mail from buymopar.com where they offer 10% off anything in the Mopar Accessories catalog. You can get your fiberglass tonneau alot cheaper this way and it will be matched to the color of your truck. The price in the book is $830. Take 10% off and you pay only $747. Much cheaper than Ruth's and it's a factory cover! I am sure you could install it yourself. shouldn't be that hard.

Allright, an upstate NY thread! Now we can commiserate about the long winters and share Dak snow stories (if we ever get any snow! :-) Yeah, I received one of those Mopar discounts but I think I'll pass on installing a tonneau myself. I'd rather let a "professional" install it so I won't have to deal with any problems that develop. Hey 2THEXTRM, I'll be in your neck of the woods (Baldwinsville) this coming weekend for my nephew's birthday party. Certainly you must be getting some of that lake-affect snow your way?

hey guys, I'm born, bred, and reside in the Buffalo area (Lancaster, NY), 30 mins east of the city. I drive a black 1999 RC 4x2 (really wish i had a 4x4 with all this snow, couldnt afford it though, guess thats what happens when u'r a college student!
2THEXTRM: nice pic of our new plates, last time i checked the website BLACKDAK wasnt taken, i may have to jump on that this summer....

I am from the syracuse area. I drive a black 99 CC 4x4 v8. The only mods that I have done so far is an MSD ignition w/ a accell coil, optima battery and stereo.

In a sense I wish we would get one heavy snow day here so I can take the truck out to a nice big empty parking lot and just slide that baby around for fun. I actually did this when I was in highschool with a Datsun 280Z nonetheless. What a load of fun! 4 wheelin' recklessly through snow sounds like a blast too (especially in a nice wide open space with no other cars around). I'm sending you some pics of my SXT. I'll look forward to seeing your pics soon!

juniork, IKWUM. I use to live in a small village which has an annual fair that lasts a week. I thought that was rough! You must get sick of the tourists in the summertime. I visit your area more in the fall than in the summer. Its a beautiful part of the state. have you lived there all your life?

juniork, I was born and raised in MA and moved to NY when I attended college (25 yrs ago!).I grew up in the Berkshires surrounded by beautiful woods, hills and lakes. Now I make Delmar, NY (Capital District)my home but find my way back to the country to fish, hunt and hike whenever I can.

I live in the lower catskills between liberty and ellenville as you can tell by my handle i am also wishing for snow. Put about 3 hundred miles on sleds in the old forge area last thursday/friday before it warmed up. First tow with my Dak , got about 13 mpg. Not bad since it only has about 2k on it and i was pushing it perty hard.

Dave, I think that would be a good idea, an Upstate NY Mopar Only show. If you can get one in that area, I can hang Flyers in the Copperstown - Oneonta, NY Area. I do not think there is an area big enough in my area, I will check around though.

Do you want to open this up to all Mopars or just stick to the dodge trucks? I was originally thinking of a small shindig and building it up to a larger event over the years but hey....if someone wants to coordinate sponsors and media coverage, the more power to ya! Grab the bull by the horns. Maybe get some dodge dealers to sponsor too. I wouldn't mind seeing some nice Cudas there but then at the same time, I don't want our Daks to get "drowned out" among all of the Mopars. KWIM?
