Message: My last truck, a Ram, was highly modified. 408 stroker, yada, yada, yada. You can check out my website, www.moparforme.com
Unfortunately, it died a fiery death last week. My Dak won't be here until the end of March.

Message: Bill, nice truck and website to bad about the fire. Are you planning on doing the same with your dak? Is your friends shop where you did all the mods? I ask because I am looking for someone to do custom work for the brakes and other major components. What kind of dak did you order?
Thanks

Message: TK's Custom Auto in New London, CT has done a lot of my mechanical work. The build up and install on the motor was done by KRC Performance in Florida. I'm not planning on hot-rodding the Dak. I'll save that for another restoration.
I ordered a 2002 Dakota Quad Cab, 4x4, 4.7, 5 speed, 3.92's, all the power toys, Infinity sound, etc.
If you are looking for a good shop in your area, try Roth Automotive in New Britain. 860-229-1830

Message: Also from Connecticut, up in Ashford. Just got a new 2002 QC 4.7L this October, after my previous car got totalled, when it was parked. Freakin' drunk drivers. Well, I like my Dak better anyway.

Message: Thanks for the help with the shops, I'll have to check it out. Maybe one of them will do my suspension in a couple of weeks when I get the time. Acceleration plus wants $240 to install, I should be able to get it cheaper. Do any of those places specialize in suspension, I don't mind driving.
