Yesterday i noticed that my left tail light went out. however the turn signal work yet. so i Thought it was the filiment in the bulb went out. so i repaced it and put the new bulb in and it was still the same! what would be wrong with it the wiring or something else??

This one should be simple to diagnose. Om my truck a gen two the wiring goes from the left side down under the bed beside the bumper and splices into the harness on the right side. I would check the splice in the harness right there and trace it over to the light from there on out. It may not be broke it could jsut be corroded enough to not work anymore so check for a green substance around any bare spots. Shouldnt be any bare spots either.
