Message: Ok i went ahead and took my catalyitc converter of my truck, hollowed it out, but when i went to put it back on none of the clamps would seal. i go some muffler puddy to seal it and it helped a little. why aren't these clamps sealing? They are as tight as i can get them. More puddy? BTW it's very loud right now.

Message: The cat provides muffling. With that gone and the leak, you will get noise.

Message: Well i like the noise, but i don't like the leak, it'll be plenty of noise after the leak is fixed. should i continue with the clamps or just get it welded?

Message: Id weld it. The clamps dont seal very well on metal that thick.
