hey guys, I was wanting to find out if my truck has LSD or not... I put my driver side tires on dirt and left the passenger side on concrete and floored it. The driver's side tire spun of course and so did the passenger's side to a certain extent. It kept spinning the whole time but it wasn't like a total burn out, kinda a quick hopping skreeching. Do I have LSD??? Also, how do I tell what differential gears I have??? Thx in advance......

Jack the rear end up and turn one wheel around, if you have LSD the other wheel should turn the same direction (I think that it does that) make sure the transmission is in neutral though. :)
The gear ration is usually on a tag on on of the differental cover bolts, but if you dont want to get dirty, the engine should be within 500RPM of the 2K mark if you have the 3.9 gears (mine was anyway, '92 V8 Auto 4X4 3.92 LSD).
