Subject: No fuel, D'OH!!! IP: Logged
Message: I'm driving along the main drag in town last night and had to make a left turn at a light. As I'm stopped there waiting for my chance to turn my truck quits. Tried restarting it to no avail. So I got out and looked under the hood for obvious signs of a problem, nothing out of place. Meanwhile I'm blocking traffic. My buddy happens to drive by so I flagged him down and he came over and helped me push it off the side. I got him to listen by the fuel tank for the pump as I turned the key off/on, nothing so I pulled the breather off and got him to check the injectors(throttle body) as I cranked the engine, bone dry. I got it down to my garage and left it there for my mecanic to look at which he did this morning. We both thought it was the fuel pump so I told him to do what has to be done. I went down to pick up my truck a few minutes ago and it turned out to be the five-way plug on top of the tank that was all buggered up so he replaced it with one he had in the shop. I got lucky on that one!! Thank you Dodge God.
