Subject: power locks IP: Logged
Message: I have a 99 Dakota with factory power locks. I just noticed that the passenger door lock won't lock when the door is open, only when closed. The driver door will either way, but not the passenger door. My truck was just repaired at a body shop 2-3 weeks ago and they had to replace the passenger door with a used one. I just noticed it acting up. Did the shop do something wrong in hooking up the lock, or is it possible that they gave me a 2000+ door? Was that a model year change thing in 2000?
Thanks!

Message: Maybe the lock actuator that came with the used door is bad. Body shops don't usually change them unless it was beyond repair.
