Hey, I was wondering if anyone had replaced the stock speakers and/or tape deck in their 93 dakota extended cab or if anyone could help me anyways. I've looked at getting new 5.25" rounds for the front and new 5x7"s for the rear, but most 5.25" speakers are too deep and most 5x7"s don't fit the bracket, or at least that's what crutchfield told me. As for the head unit, I've got that covered I think. Also, the plastic appendages that make the speaker grille snap on have broken on one side. ANyone know how I can get a replacement grille? Thanks

Ive replaced everything that you said in my 92. You can get direct fit speakers from pioneer.Had no problem installing them.I bought a jensen chrysler head unit also a direct fit. As for the speaker grills probably a junk yard would have them. good luck

Have changed everything factory in mine including sony components in front 5.25 and clarion 5x7 in the back everything fit fine. My deck is a panasonic and the trim piece was from walmart. No problem with depth or anything. I'm planning on puttin 6.5 in the front as soon as possible
