I'd tell ya the truth about a $400 cat back vrs. a $20 Thrush muffler but al the knowital wannabes would climb all over me. If you think 0.01 in the q/mile is worth $380 go spend the money.

All I wanted was a better sound, $75 Dynomax ($100 or so installed) did the job for me, I won't claim any performance increase though

Don't forget the factory system is 100% stainless steel and replacing ALL of that pipe will be very expensive! I went with a flow through stainless steel MagnaFlow muffler and I'm VERY pleased with the results! GREAT sound, MUCH better throttle response and only cost me $150.00 installed and my factory stainless tubing is 100% intact!
