Hi, I'm looking for a tonneau cover for my '01 Dak CC. I need something fairly waterproof, so I can store tools and equipment in the bed, but need to be able to handle taller loads as well-- sorta cuts out the glass tonneaus. Anyway, I've looked at the Access covers and they seem to fit what I need. How are they for quality and durability?? Does the velcro stand up, and how do the rails stand up?? Lastly, my local dealer wants $435 plus tax, installed. Any better deals out there?? Thanx,

435 dollars for a "soft" tonneau cover?
I just spoke with the owners of Advance Cover from Kcover.com. Although their prices are a bit higher than $435, their covers are made of stainless steel and aluminum which come either in 2 or 4-part folding cover. Plus, you can remove the entire cover at ease.
The only downside to Advance Cover from Kcover.com, is that it is not entirely waterproof. But the leak is very, very minimal--from what they have told me.

I have installed the Access Cover. You can check it out at www.accesscover.com The installation was easy and if you add a strip of rubber weatherseal to the front of the cab it will be completely waterproof. Just as they state you can roll it up easily from either side. The aluminium bows are built in. Just roll it up and hook the straps. I use a wheelchair to get around so not having to deal with all those snaps makes it easy. As soon as I find how much I paid I will post it asap.

Have Access cover on 00 cc.
Is really a great cover, no
velcro problems, works great
for cold weather also.
$435 doesn't sound too bad for
installed, although installing
is a very simple task. Everything
said by handi2 is absolute truth.
Brother has used on his Rams for years
and would use nothing else.
