I was just curious what peoople named their trucks. I have 2002 CC 4.7L 5-speed with a few mods. I named her MobyKota. I call her Moby for short.

People think I am stupid for doing this, but I named my Dakota simply "George." For some reason I walked up to it on the lot and George came right to my mind. I think it is something about George W. Bush. My dakota doesn't back down from anything, just like the President! (and no, I didn't do it after 9/11, I bought the truck in June!) I know i know, pretty corny!

mine's barney cause it the same purple(majenta) color as the barney kids toy, it started when my buddies started jerking on me for the color. but i think its kool plus you don't see many daks in this color

My dog won't even come to what I named him half the time, so don't think I'll bother naming the truck. Probably have some choice words for it if it gets stuck or breaks down though !

"The BucTruck" in honor of the future Superbowl Champions, The Tampa Bay Buccaneers!! BUCSFN vanity license plate, Buccaneers chrome license plate frames, two window flags, a big ol' Attack Flag magnet on the tailgate. That and the truck itself is red and silver. Hard to find pewter colored trucks these days.

I nicked named my Dakota "Blue A Load" The colour is Intense (BLUE) and it's a pick-up truck hence (A LOAD) Or the other way you read it, which gets tons of laughs.

I've applied for a (rear only) vanity plate that reads "BluByYou" for my (quick), 4.7L Intense Blue QuadCab. (Z-tube intake, Magnaflow 2.5" single pipe exhaust system.)

After taking the Dakota to the dyno with a group of my Mustang buddies, who were mostly all pushing over 300+ to the wheels, they jokingly dubbed it "HemiCota".
It did lay down a STOCK 201RWHP & 273RWTQ. Only exception was a flowmaster muffler.
I will be installing a Speed Tweeks or Duner built turbo-kit on it sometime, hopefully in the near future. Got to have some bragging rights on my buddies!

Well the Truck has three titles,
first it's "The Affair" cause I bought it as a driver and partschaser for "The Girlfriend" which would be my 1970 340 Dart. (Friends dubed the Dart my girlfriend)
Second the plates say STKHNDLR or Stickhandler the truck is a 5 spd and It really handles. (Still improving) I play a lot of inline hockey so, I too am a stickhandler but for me that title is more ironic than appropriate.
Lastly it's the Dakota ACR complete with all the factory badging. Which is just my little way of having fun with the "They never built one of those," crowd. 8-)
