I believe the air filters are the same for all daks regardless of engine. Although I've never looked under the hood of a 2.5, the 3.9, 4.7, 5.2 and 5.9 all use what appears to be the same air filter box, at least on the Gen III trucks. And I think the Rams (94-2001) use the same filter as the Gen III daks and Durangos...two friends ended up swapping filters one day (long story). One had a 99 5.2 Ram and the other a 99 5.9 Durango. Seemed to fit just fine.

Thanks Dan. Im picking up a 4.7 sport on Saturday and wanted to save my k&n I have on my 3.9 if it was gonna fit.
