Heard two differen storys just new muflor or get whole catback system is big diff in gains? thinking of just getting flowmaster but if system that much better then save for system.

You can go with just a muffler for a pretty good gain in power or increase your tailpipes after the muffler for just a tad more power. But the muffler creates probably 80% of the power increase.
