Which headlight bulbs are you guys running?? I have the Philips BlueVision and are wondering which is best, GE high output I've heard about or Sylvania, etc. I'm not getting some overpriced PIAA crap which just glows a pretty color for $75. Let me know your opinion. Thanks in advance

I just got the Sylvania Silver Star bulbs about a month ago...their about $50, but I like them a lot! They are nice and bright!

Don't knock the PIAA SuperWhites before you try them! I had them on my previous vehicle for over 4 years and they were much brighter & whiter than stock. I replaced 1 bulb at a time in my garage at night and the difference in the output of the PIAA's over the stock was amazing.

Conversely, I purchased a pair of PIAAs just last year, and shelled out $140.00 CDN for them.
Honestly, they are brighter than stock. If they do burn out, I doubt I would replace them with PIAAs again, $140.00 CDN is just wayyy too much money for bulbs. I would probablly replace them with GE highoutputs, costing roughly $10.00 CDN for one bulb.

to be frank, i was kinda disappointed in the PIAA's
you would think for that money that you would get something drastically different than the stock
mine kinda look stock
even the cheap ricer bulbs can look whiter than the PIAAs, I know they're colored and they won't put out as much light but i expected more difference in the PIAAs than I got for $70

that's exactly what I've heard and am afraid of Kotadude21. I want performance and appearance at a price that won't make me broke. Let's keep in mind they're only headlights, you need them but they shouldn't cost the same as I spent on my Mopar Performance camshaft for crying out loud!!! Any ideas on what to try: GE, Sylvania, and Philips are my thoughts right now, easy to obtain and not too costly. Thanks again!

I was going to suggest the GE high outputs, but Bernd beat me to the punch ! :-)
Seriously, I am waiting (and sort of hoping) my PIAAs burn out soon so I can replace them with the GE High outputs ($10.00 CDN for one bulb at Canadian Tire), on the other hand, after spending $140.00 on the pair of PIAAs, they had better last forever.
PS : I received a free gold coloured PIAA keychain with my purchase tho'.
