When I was installing my F&B 48mm throttle body I noticed that the intake manifold should be ported. Does anybody know where I should look to get this done? Do they offer core exchange? How much does it cost?

The bores of the throttle body are larger that the bores on the intake manifold

Ah, got it. What I did on mine is radius the top edges of the bore openings (at about a 45 degree angle) but that was for the 50mm TB. The 48mm shouldn't be larger...can you snap some pics of this? Send them to bernd@texas.net

I'm very curious/interested on this.

I know a guy who ports the intake manifold (and does heads and throttle bodies to match). I just put a new 5.9 with ported heads, matching ported intake and a machined throttle body (along with cam, etc) in my Durango, and he does all the work. Email me and I'll share his info if you like. He does great work!
