I have another question and if anybody can answer it you will save me a trip to the dealership tomorrow.
On the trip computer on a 02 Dakota when scrolling through the functions do you have one area during the scrolling of the different funtions that is blank?
In other words when scrolling through I have one blank area with no info or no numbers or anything lit up.
Is this normal the manual doesn't say.

BTW paxil is good for OCD guess I will have to up my dosage !

Sounds pretty normal to me. Mine also goes "blank" when I go through selections.

Idea is so that when your driving in extremely dark conditions you have the option to turn it off- that way its not distracting while your driving- anybody else think it might be nice to have a dimmer on this?

It does dim with the dash lights. (I think, now I'm not sure)
