I was wondering if anyone has spray-on bedliners on their truck? What was the price including the whole process and what company?

Tim I've got a rhino liner in my Dakota. Got it done in Columbus Ohio for $360.00. I didn't get it sprayed over the bed rail though, just inside the bed. It's one of the best investments you can make in a truck, in my opinion. I don't know much about other brands, but I'm happy with Rhino Liner brand. This is the 2nd truck I've had it in. Hope this helps you

Thanks. It helps a lot. In my area, they had a Line-X (sp) for more than 500 dollars, which was a bit too expensive for me.

I know there are two Rhino dealers in my area. I'll check them out once I get a tonneau cover.

I have the Rhino liner too, paid about that. I think it's nicer than the Line-x ones, seems to have more substance to it. Nice addition to a truck that'll actually haul stuff, as well as butt!

Which one is nicer, to be honest, comes down to what your preference is and who sprays it. I have the Line-X, and it seems to be a tad thicker than the Rhino I had in my other truck. The Line-X, in my opinion, is a bit more 'slippery.' (If something about the hardness of concrete can be slippery.) But I also know I just beat the living #W$@# moving my entire house, and when I got done, I sprayed it out, and *bam* good as new. It would pay to check out the facilities of those who spray both in your area, and also talk to some who got both done to their truck. Also try to ask for 'dealer cost.' I got mine sprayed in for 380.

Stay away from Ultimate Linings. Too soft to do any good. Get line-x. I paid $375 for an over-the-liner spray-in with ultimate-linings. It's the worst mistake I've made. I've recommended line-x to everyone and they love it.

Go for the Line-X. It does have the liftime warranty and there are moore dealers thruout the US. As somone has already stated do NOT get the matching color, just let the do it in black. That is the only color that they gaurantee they can match 100% of the time.

I had my bed liner sprayed when I bought my Dakota in 1997. The brand was TOFF liner and it still looks great. Several of my coworkers have had their bed sprayed, most with Rhino or TOFF. Considering most of us all had them done at different places, I would suggest you look at the work done at each shop rather than the brand. They all seem to be pretty good when applied properly. Good luck!

I had my 2001 sprayed by Rhino liner for $265 for over the bed rails and even 2 inches lower(looks like a drop in liner). I got it through the dealer as a favor from the salesman. I have had it 6months and I love it.

man i wish i could get one for that cheap. I had a 99' S-10 with a rhino in it and i was satisfied with it...then my truck got totalled(stupid women drivers...no offense) and i used the $14,000 the other driver's insurance gave me to invest in a 01' 4.7 dakota:). Paying $140 a month on it for 4 years, but back to the point. All the places in my area (tampa fl) cost $400 or more. I looked around and the best i could find was ARMA coatings. They use a heated spray so the product cures in seconds and is fully usable in an hour or so. I got mine done a week or so ago and I couldn't be more happy. Just as hard as the rhino but has a finer "grippier" texture. If you can find it go with arma.

I had a Line-X spray liner put in my 01 and love it. It cost me $355.00. Probably one of the best upgrades you can get. However, be aware that if you purchase a tonneau where the tonneau rails are mounted inside the box rails verses on top the bed rails that the liner coating may cause the inside dimensions to change and modifications will need to be made to the tonneau rails and cover length. Also, the temperature adjustment for the cover is not enough to compensate. Had to shorten both the tonneau rails and cover for proper fit.

I have a buddy, who used the "herculiner" do-it yourself kit. Lots of work involved. It looked good for a few months, but it chipped and scratched pretty bad. It's best to kick out the bucks (it's only money, you'll make more) and find an experienced, repuable dealer, and get a spray in. Obviously there are several brands out there, the important thing is to have a good dealer install it!

Hello. I just looked on www.central4x4.com and found a bed mat for a decent price. First has anybody had one? If so do you recomend it? I want to get one since i can not afford a spray on yet. Also they sell them in either short or long bed sizes. This is a problem since i really do not know what size mine is. I never really payed to much attention to it when buying. Please dont give me to muck flak for not knowing this.

I had my z-liner sprayed in from ziebart its great looking, better design texture than rhino. also I have an ARE hard lid so I had it sprayed over the rails so the lid frame and lid never contacts the paint. z-liner has very non-skid surface, good thickness also. IF YOU WATCH FOR A SALE I GOT MINE DONE FOR 320.00.
