Hey guys I have a 1996 Dakota with the 3.9L and I wanted to put a bigger engine in it if possible would a 318 fit or any thing else fit? And where could I get a new engine at and any ideas where to look for an engine at? Thanks.

You can replace the engine with a different one if you want. You will need to replace the ECM and a bunch of other misc. stuff.. IMHO..I would consider just getting a different truck with the engine you want in it..
