Every manufacture needs a Flagship, every individual a leader. In my custom truck endevours I have looked thusfar to the RT, But it isn't realy much better than my truck.

I have always Respected the Dakota RT but I allows thought it's performance could be better. It is supposed to be the the Performance leader for the Dodge Truck line, but now it is trailing bady behind the competition. But Dodge now has something for the people who craved a worthy leader.

Check out the Motor Trend website. The Ram SRT/10 Is slated for production with the new 8.3L V10 Viper engine. It is lowered with 24" wheels and Viper brakes 0-60....... 5 seconds.

What will the Competition do to top this beast.

Eric,

Hey Man, I've seen the truck, it's one bad mother.

I also have a 2000 SLT 4.7 5-spd.

Strange thing is, I can't see how I could confuse it with GOD.
P.S. Keep on looking, cause you haven't found the right God yet......

Have you ran your truck in the 1/4???

Mine... 2 days after purchase...3/4 tank of gas, tail-gate up, spare-tire in place, BONE STOCK
15.3 @ 89mph

Took it to the dyno....
201RWHP
273RWTQ

It just turned 5,500 miles
I'm going back to the track this week with traction bars in search of a 14sec time-slip

I was reffering to the Ram as God, and no I don't realy see a hunk of shiny metal as God but thought I would add some spice to my post.

Good to hear some Quarter mile times for my truck. Is yours CC or RC notchlx. I haven't thought to go to the track yet. This is my first standard Tranny so I am still perfecting my technique.
