I have a 1999 dodge dakota v8. I am looking into purchasing an extended warranty, but before I go and do that I was hoping that someone might have some information about them. I wanted to know if anyone knew or if someone might know how I can find out what chrysler pays for the extended warranties when they themselves first purchase them. Then what is the mark up for the extended warranties when chrysler goes and sells them to the consumers. In other words how much of a difference is there between what Chrysler purchases the warranties for and what they actual sell them for to the consumer. If anyone could help me I would appreciate it.
