I have a '93 3.9L. occassionaly when I go to start it I here this rapid clicking noise (not the starter) sounds like the relay switch. It will do this for a second or two then crank but won't fire. I turn the key back off then try again and it will fire usually after the second or third try. It's cranking fine just seems like the fuel systems not primed or the ignition systems off. Does the starter relay switch control either of these?
