Subject: Lift Spindles! info.

Hi all you lifters. As you know, there have been many discussions on lift spindles lately. Do they hinder R&P or not? Can they work with other suspension lifts on 2wd Daks?

I talked to a rep from AIM ind. today about 3inlift spindles. I have a 1990 2wd Dakota and want some more air under there. I already have a 2in susp. & 3in body lift and spindles is about my only option left. The Rep. said that lift spindles do not effect R&P angles. The spindles are made specifically to fit into the stock location and not change any steering, ect. geometry. Only the placement of the wheel is changed. The Rep. also said that their lift spindles could be used in conjunction with a suspension lift to give a total of 5-6ines of lift. Good news for me and other 2wd Daks that want more lift. The only problem is that AIM is not making these Dak spindles right now and dont know when they will be started. Due to the expansion into 4wd lift kits on their adjenda.

I am going to keep buggen them about it and hopefully some of you will too. Maybe that way someone will represent us Dak owners and give us some options for lifts. Thanks for your time.
Have a good one.
Joe E.
