What is the Qt mile time for the 4X4 auto ext. cab?('97)
I was just wanting to know what exactly i can race and not look like an idiot. I've got flowmaster 50 series, k&n: soon to come, 48mm TB, 8mm wires and autolites with borg warner "select".
What do you think my truck could do with all this on it?
Hopefully somewhere in the 16's i hope.
Please let me know before i go an get destroyed by some stupid supped up four banger.
thanks

Message: Alex, it's not always that easy. Some of us live in small out-of-the-way towns, like Kalispell, Montana, with a full time job and school. The nearest open track is a couple hundred miles away. Don't forget it's also in the middle of winter many places.

Message: When it all thaws out, make it a weekend getaway to Portland International Raceway. Or Mile-High at Denver.
PS- You're prolly in the low 17's to hi 16's. If you get the TB, you'll end up in the solid 16's.
You should offer to race the souped up 4-bangers thru the snow. Unless it's a Subaru.
Hah!

Message: I am waiting 'till it melts actually, but I have to work up some PTO for my work to take some time off. Hopefully sometime mid summer I can get out to a track...somewhere. Gettin' dynoed and maybe bagged is also on my list. There doesn't happen to be one in Spokane, WA? I plan on taking a trip down to Denver sometime this summer anyways to see a friend, I will have to make sure to stop by there, which I have been considering for a while now. A truck at a dragstrip w/ montana plates....geez.
I do worse than the 4 bangers on ice, but in snow I can plough right through while they kinda chug along and get thrown off the road by ice ruts.

Message: Get a G-Tech Pro.... They are fairly accurate.....
Same day at Carolina Dragway, I ran a 15.3@89MPH. I G-teched at 15.4 @almost 92MPH. The MPH were higher, but relatively close.
They run just over $130.00, my buddy got his out of a Muscle Mustang and Fast Ford magazine.
