 Subject: 4.7 Engine Question

I'm putting in a set of Autolite plugs and found an electrical part attached to the second coil tower from the front on the drivers side of the engine. Nothing is connected to it. And, I can not find a wire/plug hanging on the wiring harness that might attach to it. Its jack has one connector in it.
The marking on it are:
56041396AA
250-0.47
21 79
The truck is a 2000 4.7 2x4 Dakota Sport. If anyone can enlighten me on this part, I would appreciate it.

Dont sweat it, it is for diagnostic testing only, I have two Daks both 4.7 and autos, there should be another on the other side also. just put it back as you found it..
