Message: WENT TO D&J TODAY AFTER MY FOG LIGHTS SHORTED OUT FROM ALL THIS RAIN IN NC GOT INTO MY ASSEMBLY. FIRST GUY I SPOKE TO SAID HE THOUGHT THEY CRACKED FROM ROAD DEBRIS AND THAT IT WOULD BE UP TO THE SERVICE MANAGER. SERVICE MANAGER LOOKED AT THEM AND FELT OVER THE LIGHTS TO FEEL THE CRACKS. I SHOWD HIM THE INCH OF WATER IN MY LIGHT ASSEMBLY AND TOLD HIM THAT IF IT HAD CRACKED FROM THE OUTSIDE THEN THE CRACK WOULD BE PUSHING MORE TO THE INSIDE AND IF IT HAD CRACKED FROM THE INSIDE THE THE CRACK WOULD BE PUSHING OUT LIKE MINE WERE. HE THEN ASKED ME HOW MUCH I BURN THE LIGHTS AND HOW MANY MILES WERE ON THE TRUCK. HE WENT INAND TOLD THE PARTS GUY TO ORDER THE ASSEMBLIES AND THAT IT WAS BEING FIXED UNDER WARRANTY. HAVING IT FIXED ON 1-29-02.

Message: My fog lights on my Ram melted the lens covers! It probably happened within a year of getting them, but I never bothered to try and get them to replace them for me. I've had them one now for about 3 years and look fine when their lit up. Just have to make sure their off if I decide to go to the power wash, otherwise the hot bulbs and cold water dont mix well. Earlier this winter (if you want to call it that) the water that normally sits in the bottom was frozen! Kinda funny.

Message: I know that the fog lights should not fill up with
water, but since they do, maybe you should drill
a small hole in the bottom of the light to drain
the water. I have to do that with my older boat
trailer that lets water into the light assembly.
Just try to drill the hole behind the valence in
a place to keep road grime from getting to the
assembly.
