Hey kids my motor knocks when i gas it sounds like lifter noise only have 9k on the clock i have tried different gas same deal i just put stock airhat back on I guess i didnt notice noise with cold air intake any suggestions????

Might be detonation, I'd take it to the dealer to get the timing checked before possible engine damage occurs.

is it a ticking noise? i've got a ticking noise at start up and when the engine is cold. i've heard this is the pcv valve or #'s 1 and 3 injectors.

I have a 2k qc 4x4,4.7L,auto,When it goes into 2nd gear in hard acceleration I hear what I thought was the belt slipping,I had a new one put on,It's still doin it,The dealership says it's in the motor but won't specify what it is,Any ideas??
