I finally received confirmation that NR Automobile Accessories is willing to do a group buy. We need 10 or people for this buy and the price will be $99 (normal price is $129). Currently they only offer gauges for
'97 - '98 Dakota's & Durango's and '99 - '00 Dakota's & Durango's. They are currently working on a set for '01's with the 7000 tach, but unfortunately they aren't out yet. You can see what they look like at

and if you don't see them on this page, they don't make them :-(

My 2000 4.7 has a tach that goes to 7000. Are the gauges different in a '01 compared to a '00?

Troy T. - NR stated that the gauges have a 6000 tach. It sounds like you might have an early '01 gauge. They should have gauges for your application sometime in April.
Bernd - My NR gauges didn't have any automatic markings on them, but did have a window for them. I imagine the markings are on the stock gauge cluster as seen at

You could always cover the markings with something black before installing the new gauges. The blue filmed window on the NR gauges will hide any texture differences.
