Anyone here have any comments on the Bosh/FMS 19# injectors they are selling on ebay for $90? Are they worth it or is it a scam?

I have them, they are good. Half the price you might pay elsewhere.

What kind of performance increase did you notice with those injectors? I have a set of Mustang injectors in the garage...debating whether I should put them on my Dakota.

They really picked up the mid-range performance. My V6 was a slug getting up to speed when it was bone-stock, intake and TB really woke up the bottom end, headers & borla helped on the high, and the injectors which I've had on for a couple of weeks now, really improved the middle. They should be 19lbs, unless you are heavily modified (eg. supercharged) in which case you can go with bigger ones: 24lb, 30lb.

Lesley-thanks for the info. I have the 4.7 it's no slug by any means. I suppose I should wait until I get the new TB before installing the injectors. It's pretty cold out anyway!

One thing I experienced... I did things one at a time as I could afford it (I have one rule of thumb for upgrades - if I can't pay CASH - I can't have it) so some of the mods didn't really kick in until they were balanced by the next one. Not sure how much difference you would notice if you just changed the injectors, but with intake and exhaust mods - it's a pretty nice upgrade for the money. And that fiveomotorsport.com is a class site to deal with.

I know what you mean about the cash-I try not to buy anything on credit, definitely not parts. Fiveomotorsports.com is where you got your injectors?
Thanks again!

Yup, he is the one putting them on ebay. It's a mustang performance site. They sell crate engines, and they test them with these injectors, which they pull off and sell on ebay. So, they are used, but only for something like 20 test miles, for a savings of about $100!
