 Subject: new muffler

Question: I will need a new muffler soon. Is it okay to replace it with a Dynomax or something similar without replacing the entire exhaust system? Is it worthwhile doing it this way, benefits-wise? I can afford the muffler but not the rest of the pipes.

Install a muffler of your choice, I feel Flowmaster is the best, I use them and I love the sound, go with the Delta flow 50 series if you choose Flowmaster. SUMMITRACING.COM sells them for 90.00 and a few others..the gains in HP is great, the stock pipe is fine if it is 2.5 inches.

I'm gonna have a Dynomax Ultraflow up for grabs reallllll soon. When the MBRP goes on I'll let the Ultraflow go to anyone who wants to pay the shipping to get it to them. It has about 6k on it ... just broke in & sounds a lot meaner than the stock muff.

All I did was swap out the stock muffler for a Dynomax ultra flow. I retained the use of the stock pipes and just clamped it in place with generic 2.5" clamps($2.00 at autozone or napa). Works great, sounds awsome.

I can get you a great deal on a MBRP stainless performance muffler if you want to swap to that.
