Subject: Offer for 2001 R/T ok?

Message:
I am getting ready to purchase a 2002 R/T RC, fairly bare bones (i.e. no power windows or locks), however, the dealer offered me a substantial price break on a 2001 R/T CC for $22527.

The truck is loaded which pretty much every available option with the exception of leather. What would you guys recommend? My main concern is performance - were there any differences between the 2001 and 2002 models that should influence my decision? Thanks for your help!

I bought my 2001 R/T CC (used) for $19,000

That price seems pretty good considering how hard it is to find the R/T.
