 Subject: Few questions about new Dak

I am looking at purchasing a new 2002 Dakota in the next few months. I want to order it from the factory so I get exactly what I want. The two questions I have regard rebates.
1. Last year dodge had $2000 rebates on new dakotas. When does this rebate or a similar rebate usually occur?
2. Would this rebate be good on a factory order dakota or just dealer stock?

It doesn't have anything about future rebates, just current. I am curious about if they will have the $2000 cash back this year like they did last year and if so, when? and only dealer stock, or factory ordered

When I bought my 2002 the $1000 rebate applied to my factory order. How long rebates run or when new promotions start are not known by the dealers until literally a day or two before the promotion. Same here black magic, when I got my 02, the salesperson said that they find out the rebates and specials on Wednesday. I knew about the 7/100 rebate before the sales man did. I would advise the same thing, call the dealer. Good Luck.
