 Subject: These Edelbrock heads won't fit!!!!!!

Now I'm really mad! I tried to wedge them in with a golf club and the golf club broke! Now the
heads are all nicked up and the gasket won't seal! A piece of the golf club fell down the
cylinder bore and now I have to take the entire engine apart to get the broken piece of the golf club out!
My engine crane is leaking hydraulic oil. I used it to try to wench my Wimpy Trans-Am out of the lake
and I think I damaged it. I need help! Can anyone help me with this? Thanks W.K.

You should have counted cylinders before you tried to put V-8 heads on a V-6. No wonder you broke a club. To get the engine out, looosen every suspension mount, engine mount, bolt, hose, and wire from the engine and body. Then put the factory jack that came with the truck under the body and lift the body up over the engine and push it backwards. The engine will be sitting right there when you are done. If you left the tires on the front suspension, you can even roll the engine around the shop.
Yyyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh.

why torque the head with piece in bore? think i would go to the golf corse, call a tow truck, the shop and hope the check don't bounce!
