I"ll guess you have the defrosters on?
If so would also mean the AC compressor kicks in.
Next humid day, Have the hood up watch the AC
clutches while someone else starts the truck.
If the clutches spin and it squeals you found the
problem.
The fix would be adding a 2 ounce can of ester oil
to the system.

Message: I know its coming from the ac, but recently it wasn't squeaking but making a clicking sound. It makes it when the ac is off and on? It looks like their might be metal shavings around the inner part of the clutch but that might just be dirt.

Message: some a/c clutchs will engage when the heat is on. it kind of runs the system backwars like a heat pump. is what i was told. i would have the bearigns checked out if it is squeakign and you are seeing metal shavings.
