I have a 94' sport with the 3.9 V6 that has developed a semi-major oil leak at the rear of the engine where the transmission connects to it. Has anyone else had this problem? If you have, what caused it?

Probably the rear main seal on the engine. To replace you have to drop out the driveshaft, transmission and flywheel. Big job. Needs some heavy tools. Unless you've done it or are capable of doing it, don't take it on. The seal itself is probably less than $35. But the labor to do the job is a biggie, looking at $250+.
