 Subject: What cid is a 239 w/ 0.030 boared

I have a 1990 Dak 239ci V6. Just wondering what a 239 cubic in. motor is, in cubic inch and L terms, after a 0.030 bore? Have seen this done on other Gen I Daks and am intrested in this HP process. And what is the maxium bore job you can do on a 239 cid?

Hey Joe E,
That would be 242.137 CID, 3.967 liters.
The 3.9 is that same as the 5.2 (318) so the same thing applies. I think 0.040 max because of a thin wall casting. Getting the cylinders round so the rings seat properly is the main thing.
