Should I splurge for the extended warranty on my new order? Basically, it is a payback thing. Already, the ball joints sound like a potential payback, yet the clutch and rotors won't be covered. I priced them on the web, let's say in the $1000 range (half my danged rebate...)

I looked and even scrutinized the warranty, the one I was offered was total crap. Covered everything, if the damn thing broke and was not normal ware. They will then tell you the broken ball joints are normal wear. So it wasn't worth it. They said my delaer just changed their warrenty and it used to be better then gold.

I used to balk at extended warranties
but with DAK#2 I got the 7yr/75000 extended warranty. It was listed by DC as the better in group of good, better, best what I did like about it though is the dealer gave it to me for about $500 off list. Plus the fact that even New vehicles 3/36 warranty if they have to keep your vehicle overnight they HAVE to give you a loaner.
They kept mine overnight waiting for parts (slider window seal) and they gave me a loaner.
SOO it all depends if you want the extra edge!

In my opinion get it,but only get the Chrysler warranty,DON'T waste your money on any other company's warranty!They tried to sell me one that was a rip off. [They get a kick back if they sell you some one else's]. I got the 5 year 75 thousand bumper to bumper on my Dak...covers everything but rotors and pads[no big deal]even covers a loner if needed.Call them and they will tell you everything it covers [1-800-4-adodge]
