We took our truck in for torn/ripped upper rubber balljoint cover. They said this is not covered undr warranty. Any comments???

Try another dealer I would think it would be.

It had better be covered unless your dealer can show you SPECIFIC WORDING in the warantee showing that it is NOT covered.
I had a torn power steering rack boot replaced under warantee.

Fallon Dodge in Fallon, Nevada would not do the warranty repair. Carson Dodge in Carson City Nevada is doing the repair today under warranty.

PS THere are some TSBs for the clunking front ends that mention control arms.
