Subject: Installed gasket, still leaks IP: Logged
Message: I have a 93 Dakota with a 5.2 and it sounds like there is an exhaust leak on the driver side manifold. A little while back I installed a set of gaskets and it still leaks, any ideas?

Message: check out the donut where the exhaust manifold and the exhaust pipe join, it might be bad.

Message: People keep telling me that but when I unbolted the y-pipe from the manifolds, there was no donut, they just fit togeather tightly.

Message: There is no doughnut on the Y-pipe just steel to steel seal. Make sure the bolts are tightened evenly.
