Message: My last truck a nissan 4x4 hab that happen sometimes. You would have to go the opposite direction you want to go to make sure its ingaged or not ingaged. I haven't had any problems with my 2000 slt 4x4 shifting into gear but thats not unheard of.

Message: Sounds like the shifter needs to be adjusted. Just because you get a lemon af an answer from the first dealer doesnt mean you should sale a great truck. Find out the best dealership in your area by talking to friends and family in the area you live in. Not all dealership have good sales and service. But sometimes you just might get lucky and find one thats both.
