Message: I've been contemplating a Nitrous System today
i saw the ZEX system for about $595
is this system any good?
It will be for a 3.9L
just to mess around with would probably only use the 55 HP nozzle.
My main concern is damaging my engine, Is nitrious, this system specifically better and safer then all the horror stories i've heard?
are there better (safer systems) for about the same $$
Thank you

The ZEX system is a very nice system. I like their method for the Nitrous/Fuel pressure regulation...based on botle pressure. (Much safer and slightly more accurate to boot.)
On the 55HP shot, believe me, you'll get bored with it. The 75HP shot is perfect for a safe and extremely noticeable shot down the road/track. 75HP is also still safe for everyday use without damage to the engine.
Note: Run one step colder on the plugs and set the gap about .005" smaller when using Nitrous. Also, run one grade higher fuel to help prevent any possibility of "pinging".
