I've been pretty lucky with Mopar accessories, but I'm having trouble with the Installation Instructions for their trailer tow harness. I was shocked when the parts guy put it on the counter. I thought that it would be something that just "spliced-in", but this monster runs the entire length of the truck. Sorry, I'm rambling. Where I'm confused is with the "Connect ring terminal to the positive (B+) battery post or the PDC. If the ring terminal is connected to the PDC (power distribution center) tighten the nut to 90 in-lbs". I haven't taked the cover off of the PDC yet.(got too late last night after installing the hitch)..but when I do- will the connection be obvious? Any advice or pictures of the connections within the PDC would be appreicated. My Truck is a 2001 Dakota , 4.7L regular cab.

Are you hooking up only a light harness? If so, take it back and get one from U-Haul. The U-Haul harness is easy to install. You just unplug your tail lights at the existing harness on each side, and plug in the new connectors. Connect the ground wire to the frame and you're done. It works great.
If you are hooking up brake wires too, that's another story.

Thanks Ron, but I'm going with the 7-way connector. (Tail lights, backup lights, left/right turn lights, stop lights, and electric brakes) I'll most likely never use the electric brake, but I've always taken the "path of less resistence" (electric pun intended)and I would kick myself if I ever found myself needing it after decideing not to get it. I've really fell in love with the Dak and I can see keeping it for many years to come.
