 Subject: How do I swap headlights?

Just got some new headlights, and I can't figure out how in the hell to get the stockers out. I've searched this board and others with no success. There's 3 torx screws, then 3 bolts back behind those. The torx look like they're for aiming the headlights, so I'm assuming it's the three bolts behind them. Two clips and 3 seconds later my headlights were out on my mustang, why did dodge make it so complicated? Just thought I'd ask before my headlights were aimed up at Mars, thanks in advance.

Well i changed mine i had took out the three screws on the bottom then the rubber piece by the hood the with a little force they had came out no problem..

I forgot to add i agree with you it takes a little bit of time to get the bolts and everything off, its stupid what dodge did.. But i changed mine once the first one is off the next one is easy.. After you take the three bolts off the light will be loose and you have to play around with it until it comes out.. (What kind of lights you putting in)

Well, I got it done. It was a minor PITA. Way too much of a hassle for just headlights, although I do like the improved look. I ordered some from www.eurolights.com, got the xenon-charged blue/white 80/100watt bulbs. The light itself looks pure white, but whatever it shines on looks blue, pretty cool IMO. Thanks for the help Ital S.

It tells you how to do this in the owners manual (my 2001 CC does anyway):)

Well, I looked there, went to the section about headlights, and it said nothing about intsall/uninstall. Maybe I didn't look hard enough, but I don't think it's in there. It's all good now anyways.
