Subject: Engine Idle Question

Message:
I own a '97 Dodge Dakota Club 4x4 SLT, and lately I have been noticing a little, well maybe not little, trouble starting and keeping it running. I am in Alaska and have to keep my truck outside all night... I am going to put in a block heater by the end of the week. I would like to know if there is anything else I can do to keep my truck from stalling out when I hit a stop sign or a red light.... When I hit those, the engine idle falls to about 450 and if it keeps going will jump back to the normal 600, if not well, kaput....

man i got the same problem, but i live in NC. it only happens on cold mornings, though. i thougt it was just the O2 sensor, so i replaced it like the computer told me and the "drama" continues! AAHH i freaking hate it! my computer keeps putting these dumb ass codes every time they scan it. for example: the retarded computer put out a code that ment one of the pistons was missing?? WHAT THE F*CK IT UP WITH THAT??!!!! i'm about to put a bullet from my desert eagle threw the block. i know damn good and well one bullet will put a nice size hole in it. hell it might even go right threw it (i can only hope). any info on this would greatly help me (and my dak's life span). so give me the info or the dakota get's it. i might give it about another week or so (NO BULL $hit!).
