Message: vondutch -
Great looking truck - I'm jealous & you MUST/SHOULD be very proud.
I especially like the 2/3 stance. Did you do it yourself or have it done? Would you provide some details regarding install, cost, etc.
I personally don't like the "slammed" lowered trucks. (No offense anyone) I think your truck sites JUST RIGHT!!!

Message: Cool, von "D"..... your Q is sweeet.
I just put my Hotchkis springs on today, and the rear only dropped 1 3/4". Weird. I guess I'll put blocks on, cause there's still too much space between the tire and fender. The front is perfect, though. I took it for a pretty wild ride, but I coudn't make it rub. Hotchkis sure knows how to engineer a perfect balance of ride and control. I'm fully STOKED about the way my truck rides!
I have the exact same tires as you, but on 18x8.5" rims. My opinion: we made a great choice. The Pirellis are even better than I thought they were gonna be..... quiet, tight, and sticky - plus they grab a wet road like nothing else I've ever driven.
You're gonna love your Q even more when you blacken your grille (my SLT grille+lower fascia were colour-matched quickly after I bought my Dak).
In my profile, I claimed "no lifting or lowering - EVER", but I believe I'll be updating...
I'm glad I held out for the Hotchkis.

Message: nice truck, and NICE WHEELS! Unfortunatly, it looks like I'll only be able to afford 17x8 now. :(
Anything looks better than my 15x7 stock at least, right?

Message: Thanks vondutch. I fixed the link in my profile. (I think). Anyway you can see the truck at:
Marks DQC
The lid may make my truck sit a little lower. I I also have 2 of the spacer plates on each leaf spring. Actual rear drop was about 3-1/2"

Message: Vondutch- What a beautiful truck. It just looks
"right". Do you happen to know how much the
Hotchkis coils and leafs dropped your truck?
It doesn't appear to be as low as Marks QC.
How do the KYB's ride/handle?
I've got a new white '02 QC sport plus I'd like to
drop a bit, but I don't want my truck as low as
Mark's (darn WI winters).
Broeheem, how much did the Hotchkis coils
drop the front of your truck? Do you have any
pics?
Thanks, this forum rules.

Does anyone have any pics of a 4x4 dakota with larger rims/low profile tires?
