Funny. All I wanted to know was some info about a truck I was looking to buy. I see. Well if anyone knows what type of transmission is in a 94 v6 5speed I would be thankful.
BTW it is short for pillsbury doughboy.

You never know what will stimulate a response. "sicminds v6" starts a string in anonther forum with an almost unintellible post and it is up to 40 responses. I tried about the same time to start a string about the great ads for the Dakota and Durango. No responses. So, you just never know.

Will the Hurst 391-5050 shifter work/fit in said 2001 V6 5spds?

I read somewhere recently that the 2001 V-6 Daks are getting the NV-3500 (same as the V-8) manual now. I don't know much about the shifters. If your truck has the NV-3500, then the Hurst shifter that everyone is installing on their V-8 5-spd will absolutely work. Call your Dodge dealer's parts department and ask about what your truck has.
