I contacted Bernd a couple of times already via email and phone, and I only got one response. Perhaps I'll drop him another message asking about the order.

For Dak exhausts, I would contact the guys at Unlimited Performance. They are very knowledgable, they know what works, and can special order items in for you (most likely it'll have to be shipped from the States).
My exhaust needs to be replaced pretty soon (Calgary winter and salt !!), and I am currently looking at either Gibson or the Mopar cat back; price and availability will be the deciding factor.
Glad to see so many Canadian Dak owners and enthusiasts. Perhaps we can start up www.dodgedakotas.ca (Canadian chapter) ??? :-)

Victoria BC,Hey Mclane check out www.mbrp.com for exhaust,they have a stainless steel kit.I just went for the aluminized dual rear split and it has been the best mod I`ve done,It looks deadly and sounds deadlier

Thanks for the website. I checked it out and the cat backs look really sharp ! Unfortunately, they only make cat backs for Gen III Daks (I own a Gen II Dak).
Bernd of Speedtweaks said that he is looking at opening up a Canadian branch of Speedtweaks. The only thing holding him up is customs and taxation (or something like that).

Ya Lesley I have the MBRP dual rear cat but I got it about 6 months ago and its wicked the best sounding in my opinion and it was nice to get something made in canada for once.I always get people asking what kind of setup I got,I recommend there exhaust highly.I`ve never been on mopar chat tho,I used to hang sometimes on a site called demons den as I have a 71 demon 340 also.Whats the mopar chat like?

Art, moparchat.com is a great resource for information too, although I still prefer this board and the folks I've met here. They have a dak forum and a durango forum that I visit quite frequently.
And, Brad & Middy, if you see a black dak with a tiny Borla sticker and a larger fox & riding helmet sticker on the rear window heading up Highbury Road over Xmas, please honk & wave!

I agree with you, if everybody's schedule cooperates we should have a Calgary Dak meet and share performance tips, see what mods each of us has done to our Daks, and what mods are planned in the future.
I know that Modern Motors can get Warn brush guards, so hopefully in the future I can get one installed.
